I can't imagine what kind of conversations and such goes on behind the scenes.

If my memory serves correctly, we have an 'expert' on this forum. Perhaps he can shed some light on the subject...

Someone said, "the wages of sin is death." Does this cover the porn stars too? Seems it does.

And they must all be incredible actors. According to the headline the infected actress was a porn star after a career which lasted three months.

Can we say it's technically not adultery or homosexuality, if they're only doing it for a movie? Does that argument also work if the context is beastiality?

Wonder how much the proliferation of anal sex in the porn business has to do with this recent outbreak?

It's pure prostitution plus what ever perversion is thrown in.

See Leviticus 22 for discussion of bestiality.

As for adultery, see Matt. 3:28:
" But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. "

This would seem to apply equally to porographic movie 'actors' and viewers.

Oh yeah - it takes a graduate degree from the NY School of Cinema & Performing Arts to "drop trou". I hear they're very selective in their casting calls, also - the chief acting skill they're looking for is the ability to "perform" in front of a camera crew holding three 500-watt klieg lights close enough to give them a tan on their bums.

I completely agree with both of your points. Thought I should raise the question because there are a lot of people who would advocate pornography as an alternative to engaging in those acts themselves.

Sort of like the pro-Howard Stern argument (pre-divorce, that is) that attempted to paint Stern as a good family man off-the-air, with perversion just being his day job.

Oddly enough, CBS radio said he had sex with 13 individuals in the week after the test; your post is number 13. Results of the test took 3 weeks, if he had sex with 13 the first week and those 13 had sex with 13 and so one for three weeks, it could wipe out the industry...until their viewers start volunteering I suppose.

Roxx, who is either 18 or 19-years-old, performed in a mini-gang bang scene with Darren James, Mark Anthony, Maxxx Black on March 24. Anthony and Black performed a double anal with Roxx, as part of that scene. Black is now quarantined as a member of a new line of the virus.

Roxx had only been in the adult industry for three months. Her scene with James and Anthony was her first double anal.

“When I got there, me and Marc had a little conversation, because Thomas Hope told me I was going to do a d.p., and so I get there and Marc Anthony tells me it’s a d.a., which stands for double anal, “ Roxx recalled. “And I’m like, ‘What? I’ve never done a double anal.’ And he’s like, ‘Well, that’s what we need. It’s either that or nothing.’ And that’s how they do it.

The double anal came off as planned, but the next day, Roxx made a painful discovery. "The day after that scene, I had a rash appeared on my ass; a rash like I've never had before, and I was in pain. I couldn’t sit on my butt."

The adult film industry has had testing in place for quite some time. Of course it is a voluntary system, but most actors and actresses do it, because it is tough to get work if you don't.

I wish these individuals the best and hope they are able to control their condition and keep them in my prayers.

The thing that gets my goat, is that so many are so quick to condemn these people, when in fact thousands of people last week found out there were HIV positive..... but because these people were in porn somehow they are less than human.

As much as some morally condemn them, the fact remains porn and legalized prostitution are still far safer than most typical americans sexual activities are statistically to contracting HIV. But again, lets not confuse facts with morality....

And we now know of at least one word that failed to make it into Ms. Roxx's lexicon...

"No."

In your haste to make this stupid comment, I see you've somehow neglected to acknowledge that "typical americans sexual activities" do not include rash-producing "double anal penetrations," nor do they leave a 2-generation watch list of 65+ people.

But "lets" not confuse logic with libertarian ideology.

Alex,

Do some numbers my friend.

Yes, HIV transmits sexually, but it is not a high infection rate even amoung HIV infected individuals who engage in heterosexual sex. THe odds of catching it as a male from heterosexual sex with a female are astronomically small, and for a woman having hetero with a male infected are small as well, but higher than men.

Even a needle prick (not sharing needs, but an accidental prick from a needle known to be contaminated is only a 1 in 500 chance of transmission.

Anal Sex has a very high transmission to the receiver... and NEEDLE SHARING is very high as well. Fortunately the fact is that heterosexual sex without any open wounds or other things in the general area, is a relatively low transmission rate... HIV could be a lot worse.

Nice tyrade, but not based in reality.

Lets take a typical bar on a typical friday or saturday night.... how many relatively annonymous or one nighters do you think typically happen in a weekend in america?

Its no small number.

How many of those do you think have had HIV testing?

How many of those insist on condoms?

How many of those then go and have themselves tested every 3 weeks just to be safe?

You are dillusional if you think that the statistical odds of exposure to HIV is smaller in this situation than in areas where tests are routine and condoms are required.

THere has not been 1 positive HIV infection in a Nevada brothel since testing began... last I checked..

Porn as well statistically is very small percenatage.

THe numbers don't lie. How people today are walking around HIV positive that have never even been tested? Putting how many others at risk?

The typical one nighter is far more risky from an exposure perspective than legal prostitutes or porn stars.

You can deny it because your morality doesn't want to accept it, but that's the facts.
