Snopes is not the absolute truth. It was started by a husband and wife team who are avowed liberals, and I have seen a couple things abou Hitlery that ARE true that are considered lies on Snopes.
Snopes must be taken with a thick sprinkle of salt. They get their info from the internet, just as anyone else does. They have a liberal bias.
Please note my comment right before this one about snopes. Snopes ain't God.
Wow - I should have read the whole thread before adding my .02. You nailed snopes but good. They are just the usual leftist trash posing as the inarguable truth. As though as soon as we hear the word "snopes" we must bow our heads in reverent awe.
Believe me, it took a while of research to see through their False Authority Syndrome. But they've been given credibility, and you're right, no one challenges them, by virtue of their size.
But when I saw their stand on the war, and Iraq, that sealed the box for me.

This culture has stolen our children's childhood. I can't believe what children know about or are into now. I'm 50; I must have been in one of the last "innocent" generations. I barely knew what the sex act was when I was 14.
