I meant that the sea borders are actually fairly safe from invasion.

However, we here in California are facing criminal alien invaders that no one in either party has the will or desire to even hinder slightly. It is a game where we citizens all lose and no one seems to care.

If you talk to the Coast Guard at the deckplate level, they will candidly tell you that for every boat they get, about 20 slip through.
