The least he could do is be honest and say that he has no intention of enforcing the law. It might not sell well with the public, but at least it would be the truth.

With guys like Hutchison dissembling on the airwaves like that on bahalf of GWB, it is not suprising that so many people believe Michael Moore.

I just could not believe that interview. John nailed him to the cross on the issue and Hutchison pretended to be above the fray. What a crock. Its pretty scary that GWB has people like that on the front lines. The question is whether Hutchison was ordered not to answer the questions or whether he was dissembling on his own. Either way it does not bode well for the security of our country that Asa Hutchison is in such a high position in national security.
