Some of you people around here freak out too easy. It is not the end of the world. The administration has it's reasons...and it has it's reason that this didn't come from W's mouth.
Jay, I agree see my post just before yours........i'm a solid Repub but sometimes people her go nuts to early. Take Rove's approach; be systematic, follow the leads and jump in for the kill at the right time....we shouldn't go overboard so quickly and too early......in good time the facts will fall in our favor and then we can pounce....Chill everyone
Exactly, I agree with you.
Although, I would like to know if Danforth was standing under a banner that read barf alert at the time he spoke.
it is a lot more than this that has me very dissatisfied with bush. the guy isnt a conservative. what good are his tax cuts if he cant cut any spending? he kept mentioning the "no child left behind" act during the campaign as if that was some great accomplishment. it was pathetic. he is wasting our money and soldiers in iraq. he isnt controlling the border. he isnt standing up against the UN. i dont want a leader that takes one of the major issues of importance to people that voted for him (being anti-UN) and is afraid to be strong in his convictions. i dont know what bush's agenda is but i think its clear he isnt only focusing on what americans want.
"Some of you people around here freak out too easy."
You nailed that one! That has to be one of the most vexing things about our beloved FR. All the extreme reactions to complex issues are wearying.
Not that we should put our trust in ANY man, ultimately, but as far as Presidents go you would think we might have learned a lesson or two from George W to play it cool and wait for your enemy to hang himself.
Or at least dare to trust him a little after four years of watching him work.
