I think they should have a day of dedication to themselves .
I already have a day of dedication to myself. It's called "my birthday".
I'll be celebrating it in nine days.
They only thing I have seen posted from the news is that they are offended by trees that are triangle shaped, nativity scenes, certain songs and melody's, and in one school system the colors.
No, you've been hearing about the ones who are offended by such things. You won't know about the ones who don't make such a fuss, because they're not in the news.

I realize that it is a very vocal minority that the complaints are coming from and you are not involved.
Do you think a day that was acknowledged publicly to be a day of community for non believers would make any difference. Part of the problem seems to be that those that are most vocal are being excluded.
Kwanza was a made up holiday that had a theory and accepted means of celebration assigned to it. It is now widely accepted.
Would a day of celebration placate the offended feelings the complainers seem to experience at being in the presence of other peoples symbols?
Honest question, nothing wise a$$ implied.
