Lymphogranuloma venereum is not a new disease. It has long standing in the canon of STD's. Its current resurgence (or at least identification) among homosexuals should be no surprise - it has always been lurking in the background waiting for the opportunity. The practices engaged in by homosexuals provide that opportunity.
