Me too, and what do you wanna bet they put a line in right at the scene? So the glucose level would have stabilized by the time she made it to the ED.
It's either insulin injection or some fairly rare undxed condition, probably endocrine.

I can not belief this conspiracy crap now extends to the Medical Examiner according to some freepers.
I was of the impression that the relative(?) in the "Mae" case had produced a document represented to be Mae's living will, and the hospital or doctor accepted it as such, but it turned out to be a totally different document.
But no matter -- in most states, to "pull the plug" you need agreement of at least two physicians (some states require three or maybe more). If you don't have the two or three or so physicians required, you cannot terminate life support.
There was a time in some states where you could have a living will, but the hospitals and doctors were not necessarily required to honor it. This happened a lot in places where the hospitals were largely Catholic or affiliated with other religious institutions. A lot of those hospitals have shed affiliations with religious groups, and many of the states which had this pecularity in their living will laws have eliminated it, thus making it easier to have your wishes honored.
But the important thing is still to have your wishes set forth in writing. I dont' care if a person wants a "living will" or a "will to live." Just put something down in writing, sign it and have your signature either witnessed or notarized.

Specifically, they point out he changed his story after winning nearly $2 million dollars in a medical-malpractice lawsuit against Terri's physicians who, Schiavo successfully argued, should have treated her potassium imbalance before it resulted in cardiac arrest. As WND reported, Michael Schiavo filed a petition in May 1998 to disconnect his wife's feeding tube reportedly to carry out her wishes.
During the malpractice-suit trial nearly six years earlier in November 1992, Michael Schiavo made no mention of his wife's alleged wish to die and conversely pleaded for the opportunity to personally take care of his wife at home for the rest of his life. He sought $20 million to cover the cost of her future medical and neurological care, estimating her life expectancy was 50 years.
Schiavo told the jury he was studying nursing because he wanted "to learn more how to take care of Terri." According to a transcript of his testimony, Michael Schiavo was asked how he felt about being married to Terri, given her condition.
"I feel wonderful. She's my life and I wouldn't trade her for the world," he replied. "I believe in my wedding vows. ... I believe in the vows I took with my wife, through sickness, in health, for richer or poor. I married my wife because I love her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I'm going to do that."

His rapid response was due to the inept Schindler attorney, David Gibbs, who presented no "facts" but rehashed his case about why the feeding tube should be re-inserted.
A judge should not have to do an attorney's job for him.
However, how would one sort out the damage done to the brain originally versus what was caused by the dehydration/starvation?

#1. Terri didn't have a heart attack so of course there was no evidence of it. She suffered from cardiac arrest, which was testified to under oath by the doctors who attended to her in the hospital the night she was admitted.
#2. Regarding the bulimia, I guess those doctors who lost a lawsuit really messed up by permitting their reputations to be damaged because they didn't treat her for bulimia, huh?
#3. Of course there is no evidence of a drug overdose because no one ever provided evidence there were drugs involved in Terri's life at all.
#4. An autopsy would show previous broken bones.
Another "truth" put to rest:
He said that after her feeding tube was removed, she would not have been able to eat or drink if she had been given food by mouth, as her parents requested.
``Removal of her feeding tube would have resulted in her death whether she was fed or hydrated by mouth or not,'' Thogmartin told reporters.
JUDGE GREER TAMPERED WITH WITNESS TESTIMONY to reach the conclusion that Terri was too young to know better when she said "Where there's life there's hope."
Where are those IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS FOR JUDGE GREER? (Oh, I forgot he's a fat cat republican, never mind). He can use his pen to kill disabled people because he has powerful, rich friends.

So, torturing her before putting her to death would have been OK then? Oh wait, that's just what they did when they dehydrated her to death.
If what you said was true, why did they administer pain killers? Why did Greer/Felos/Schiavo make sure there was music playing in her room and that she had her freakin' teddy bear as she died of dehydration?
