Question: is there a mine on the island?

I don't know why, but I keep thinking that the rave/s may have been held in a mine. The reference to "maze", "house with gold bricks", "path not paved", can't see it in the light, Joran's lost shoes which could have evidence of where he was.... and so on. The thought yelling in my head is... is there a mine? Have they searched it? A mine would be a perfect place not only for a rave but for any number of illicit activities.

The name, Aruba, according to one legend, is from the word "oro huba" (Spanish for there's gold?). To answer your question, there are plenty of mines and natural caves...and, yes, that could be Shango's allusion.

I've been reading from the link you provided earlier today and have viewed a couple of other sites today. What do you think Jossy's angle is here? Is it possible that he is the media vehicle in Aruba that will help Joran in jail for a long time because he believes he is guilty? Or, is it possible that he is trying to protect some of his business partners by diverting the attention on Joran? (the goat) This has me puzzled....

Hey TL...of course it is just speculation on my part, but I think (to quote Shango) "this island is run by wampum."

Jossy's family is ultra rich (50 years at least of amassing illicit cash) and has a machine (which is the island). I think if Jurine were really guilty, they would have coughed him up but fast.

I am beginning to think Jurine is a stooge. That explains his sociopathic staring into the camera. I think Jossy is protecting the island and its underbelly (and Aruba is like an iceberg...mostly under the surface). Funny, but the most sense so far has come from Shango.

It is really nasty to say this...but Nat did have a virginal quality...an innocence (even her family admits as much). To whoremongers and dealers and traffickers in the stuff of hell...Nat would have been a dream.

She might even still be alive for their pleasure. Remember criminals not only feel no guilt...they enjoy the crime. Considering the publicity...Nat may be by now addicted to coke or heroin. And she might have gain an enhanced desirability among the evil elements of Aruba.

I think you may be right. If she was taken off that island alive she will be another Amy Bradley. How terribly sad to think that she is alive but will never see her family again. If this has happened I just can't see any scenario that makes them give her back.

When I first read this, I thought... What the hell?, But, as I read the replies and the Key- I see it's speculation about Natalee Halloway's disappearance i.e
She went to a rave party, (wouldn't be unusual for someone her age to go to a rave), with Joran- son of the wealthy judge, and got caught in a trap set by the drug cartel- white slavery? The son, maybe has gambling debts to the wrong people. Joran's father, and most all of the Aruban officials, are afraid of the bad element there, won't go against them.( Hence, the odd behavior of the Aruban authorities).

At this point, it seems to be as good an explanation as any, for Natalee Halloway's disappearence. There is definitely some kind of cover up going on. The Aruban investigators have acted bizarre i.e they don't seem to want to find her.

It can't hurt to look into what's alleged here. i.e talk to the casino people, find out about rave parties on the island, where they have been held, maybe check Venenzuela if that's where they might have taken her, exc..

I think Shango was referring to a party at the Wyndham, and a tie to the casino there since the dealers were repeatedly referenced - the dealers know, Shango said.

I read over his posts several times, along with interpretations. Later someone posted elsewhere information about the Wyndham. Shango talked about the 7 Infernos ( that is apparently the name of the Wyndham's restaurants) and about the Maze (A band that played at the Wyndham is named the Maze).

I've never been to Aruba so am relying on information others provided.

There is no refernce at all that the restaurants are called the 7 infernos. These are the names of the restaurants:

I have not found a link to a band called MAZE that has played at the Wyndham. There was a group called Maze that played at the 2004 soul Beach Festival. I did not find them on the bill for this years festival.

I noticed the name "Azull." That is another name for Azazel. Know who that is?

Of course, I am just making natural connections, but remember in the early Shango posts a mention of a "goat" (conjuring up images of scapegoats or escape goats). Look at this (for a wild connection)...

A wild demon from the desert in the Old Testament to whom the scapegoat was driven forth, but is also mentioned as the place to which the scapegoat was sent on the Day of Atonement. Two goats were chosen and after one was sacrificed, the other was let loose in the wilderness, symbolically carrying away the nation's sins. This ritual is described in the Avodah. Thanks for the ping. I've been lurking lately, disappointed that there isn't more headway being made.

I saw someone subbing for Nancy Grace last night. I can't remember what they said, though, so I'm thinking they didn't say much of anything.

If only we could awaken to find that FBI on t.v. telling us they have her, alive, and that a ring of criminals are in custody. Queen of the damned. I'd almost rather pray she's in Heaven, safe at last.
