Actually Van der sloot is a FAILED Judge but he did work in the Justice Department and thereby had a lot of connection with Prosecutors, other Attornies and law enforcement. But don't call the guy a Judge. He FAILED HIS EXAM.

Where have you heard or read that Natalee went off with these three men voluntarily? Maybe you have insider information that the general public is not privy to.
On the interrogation tape of Joran van der Sloot, he admits drugging her against her will and having sex with her. No one was even charged with this crime.
This was a "nice" girl not inclined to sleeping around. She was raised in a sheltered environment and trusted other people too easily. Twenty years ago that could have been me. I had never been exposed to the filth prevalent everywhere. When I moved out into the world after college, I had to learn to be very careful and not trust anyone until they had proved themselves trustworthy. Natalee never had a chance to learn this lesson. NO ONE knows exactly what really happened except the parties involved. How can you say how she acted? Your speculations are just that, speculations. If this had been your daughter, you would do everything possible to find her.

Exactly right. Natalee DID have a couple of drinks, so did her classmates that were with her. They ALL left to take taxi's back to the Hotel. Since JORAN VDS LIED and told Natalee he was a foreign exchange student and was ALSO staying at the Holiday Inn, she thought she was simply getting into a taxi with him to go back to the HI.

I can't get over some of these people running off at the mouth with the facts COMPLETELY WRONG. And Natalee, was of age to have drink or two. She likely NEVER knew she was being fed 151 rum and drugs. No, Natalee, was blindsided and it cost her her life. It's very sad. And I wouldn't do a thing differently than Beth has done were it my daughter. CO

I wish I had been planning a trip there so I could cancel, but I wouldn't ever go to a place like that again, I hope, God Willing.

Still, the name Aruba does not leave a pleasant taste in the mouths of Americans looking for vacation spots. Let us hope that will have a nice economic impact. I want those who mess with us to feel our united economic wrath.

And to those who say don't punish the good people because of a few bad apples? I say there are thousands upon thousands of Islanders, NOT from Aruba, who wantneed our coin and are willing to go out of their way to earn it. If not, screw them too. We don't need them. Stay home where you know the system.
