There is no real confirmation of injuries in this piece. I am very skeptical. Why would people of the age group and description he gave be that interested in the controversy he prompted?
I keep remembering that woman activist who faked vandelism to her car on a college campus when I read this story.

The story smells bad. The favorite trick of the left is to pretend to be the victim when caught. My bet is no pickup. No stopping on the side of the road. No two rednecks. Just one leftist professor looking to make himself look like the victim.

I'm sure the nun's stories are true and it was because of their religious belief. But, I'm not at all sure about this guy's story. Something tells me if he actually got beat up he was doing something he doesn't want to admit to.
If he were truly beat up by two grown men and a metal object, he'd have much more severe injuries than just some bruises and sore spots.
