I am very deeply religious person, and I have learned the hard way what a miracle it is for a child (*any* child) to be conceived be it naturally or with help--so many things have to be in place at the perfect time, it's just incredible. My respect for human life is tremendous, especially after burying two unborn children who didn't survive without the help of doctors and by the Grace of God, like Maya did. :*(
Please, people, do your research if you need help with IVF and don't let the sort of ugly prejudice posted here spread further, presented as 'truth'. It's the farthest thing from the truth, but unfortunately, Satan is able to quote Scripture, mixing facts with untruths just to stir up trouble. :*(

This Coleus does not understand IVF at all. You are right on the money. In truth, around 80% of ALL EMBRYOS FORMED don't make it. The human egg is often aneuploid (chomosomal abnormalities) and the embryo formed with it often does not stay. This is why a woman does not get pregnant every time sperm meets egg. This is why, if a fertile young married couple is trying to conceive, they are told to keep trying for a year before seeking any medical help. It is not as easy to make a human as to make a fish.
I know that there can be immoral acts of embryo destruction in the IVF world, but it is all up to the parents. If you treat your embryos as your children, they will have every chance possible to become babies.
