Is it just me or do I see the same pro-Miers crowd supporting this bizarre deal with a radical Islamic nation? They were wrong then; the next few days will show that they are wrong on this issue too. If Bush came out and said that Iran is a great friend of the United States and Israel, the same crowd would line up behind him and find a way to make it true in their minds.
Many have fallen for a cult of personality - it is no different than those that would jump off a cliff or get down on their knees for Bill Clinton if he asked them to - it's just a different party. Conservatives rightly pointed out how dangerous that sort of attitude was then and thankfully most of us are still pointing it out now even though "our guy" is the one in power.
