Are you seriously suggesting that the date was there all along?! Obviously, it was added later because others were complaining. So, again you're being DISHONEST! But I guess you think you're allowed to be sly because the content of the article warrants it.

I don't know how long the date was there... when you complained I went to check and saw it. All right you caught me... I am an ultra-liberal 'Rat who posts extremely right wing stuff here everyday. Like the post I just sent saying Laura Ingram "hit one out of the ballpark" talking about reporters in Iraq.

Here are the facts:
I have never considered voting for a 'Rat
I have voted for W twice
I like W
I support efforts in Iraq although I don't think Islam is gonna allow anything positive in Middle East
I have issues with Prez on the border
I live in Cali and see the prob first hand
I want a fence
I Respect the Minutemen
W hasn't done anything about border yet and so I have doubts about his resolve
If the dems take this issue then we have problems
I don't like V. Fox
The border issue is a security issue as well

I was the first to complain that the article was a year old and the date was most definately on the article when I read it because I checked it once I realized what I was reading which took about 10 seconds. And there are many other obvious historical clues in the article too. And the date of the article is embedded in the hypertext link and I checked that too.

I don't know if the post of an old article was an honest mistake or not.

I do know that I follow the immigration issue VERY closely and I have never seen an apology from the President or anybody else in the Administration and they have given nobody any reason to believe they have moderated their position on the immigration issue in general or the Minutemen specifically. The President's vigilante comments were echoed by other top level officials in the DHS and there were some active attempts by the Border Patrol leadership (but not the rank and file) to discredit the Minutemen and to downplay their success.

In his comments a few days ago, the President asked for a "civil debate" on the immigration issue. That is difficult when he has personally set such a negative tone with comments of this nature.
