Volunteer has close encounter with death
By THOMAS MICHALSKI

They thought I would die, the 75-year-old OQuinn said, but I fooled them.
So sure were doctors that OQuinn would pass on that they told his family to make funeral arrangements, he said.
But when they shut down his life support system he opened his eyes and asked for a glass of water.
Hospice was taking care of me and left when I didnt die on them, OQuinn said.

Does anyone have a HTML version of Terri's autopsy report that could be posted here? I remember the M.E. practically invited a review of his findings, and I think there are good reasons to do so.
Wouldn't you know it, "PINELLAS PARK ".
I know of none except the PDF. But an HTML version may be out there. Worth a search.
What's really against the odds is getting better when the Death Culture is determined to say you never will.
Brain-Damaged Victim Regains Speech After Almost 20 Years (Voice of America)
This is from India. The Terri Wallis story made it around the world in a hurry! Thoughtful people everywhere realize that Wallis's case calls Terri Schiavo's court-ordered death into question. As the quote above should make clear, it also calls into question the way Michael Schiavo treated Terri on a personal level after he got the award money in 1993. Love and attention seem to be part of the recovery process. Terri got neither.
Man who awoke from coma raises new questions about death of Terri Schiavo
Charlie Crist is supposed to be Florida's Attorney General but Jeb Bush steps in when law enforcement oversteps. Is Jeb trying to rehab his image before he terms out or is he covering for Crist since Crist is a really awful attorney general?
Jeb's direct line to Fox News is still humming. The Tanner story was reported only on Fox News today.
Crist can't cut it is the bottom line.
The goal is to keep things confused.
The new ACHA Director appointed by Jeb is an attorney, not a medical person. Do attorneys have better shredders than medical admininstrators or something?
I am thinking that Jeb has plenty of shredding to do before he terms out. He can't shred the memory of Terri's death though.
What they do in North Korea is exactly what they did to Terri in Amerika.
Perhaps the jailers knew who she was and that's why they roughed her up.
There are references to Crist taking over an investigation from Tanner too.
Maybe Jeb stepped in because Crist has a conflict of interest with the jailers? This is really strange stuff. This doesn't even include anything about Tanner's daughter but maybe the jailers were sending a message to her dad at the jail.

It's possible that Jeb told Fox News about the Tanner incident to get Carla's problem with DOH off the news... Maybe DOH is going to drop the complaint against Carla because it leads back to the initial coverups by DOH and by ACHA re: Terri.
It would have been much simpler for Jeb to have stayed the course and gone in there and rescued Terri.

The Sheriffs and cops complained to Jeb and he took the case away from the states attorneys and gave it to Crist. It will drag on and on now. This is rare that Jeb didn't give a case to Pinellas County's Bernie McCabe and gave it to Crist to investigate. Jeb's changing his methods but this will disappear, just like Martin Anderson's death investigation has disappeared. Jeb is more magician than governor.
NEWS FROM A LEGAL WEB SITE: UNION, FLAGLER SHERIFF DENOUNCE STATE ATTORNEY-- Daytona Beach News-Journal, http://www.news-journalonline.com, June 20, 2006. Bunnell law enforcement officials came out swinging Monday [June 19], accusing State Attorney John Tanner of leading a "crusade" against Bunnell police and deputies and calling his investigation of the Flagler County Jail a "witch hunt." Flanked by dozens of employees of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office and supporters, local and state representatives of the Coastal Florida Police Benevolent Association gathered outside Tanner's Daytona Beach office to protest Tanner's investigation of the Flagler jail. The controversy has included two jail guards being charged with twice strapping Tanner's daughter into a restraint chair in March 2005. Jim Spearing, the union's statewide political coordinator, called for Gov. Jeb Bush to remove Tanner from the jail investigation and replace him with officials from state Attorney General Charlie Crist's office. [Updated: 07-01-2005 ]
FV Says: The union is real tight with Crist. Tanner's daughter's claims against her jail guards will disappear. That's how justice works in Florida. It doesn't.

See last posts. More monkey business in Florida. See how it's done.

(so IMO his daughter's claims of excessive force by the jailers might really get deep sixed by Crist since he's a secular humanist/phony conservative.) The state bowed to the union guys who oppose the born again state attorney by giving the case to Crist.
Phew! Crist is a big time Pontius Pilate.
From Orlando Sentinel: After praying with serial killer Ted Bundy, Tanner launched a crusade against pornography in Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns counties. It cost him his job.
Now Tanner, who won his job back four years after the porn campaign, again has been accused of abusing his authority to pursue a personal cause.
(where's there an honest sheriff in Florida?)

The question answers itself. It wasn't OK and somewhere in their hearts, they know it. They consciences are guilty (and should be!). They were part of a lynch mob that tortured a helpless woman to death. They have innocent blood on their hands.
The writer, Kristen Reed, makes no effort to hide her prejudice. This isn't reporting, it's a hatchet job.
