Time to think about doing a write-in to send a message to the FL GOP that voters don't want antilife, antifamily politicians.

Why waste your time doing that.

Just go ahead and vote straight Democratic Party.

You know you want to.

Personally, I was not a fan of either of them. However, I voted for Gallagher even though he had bashed Jeb in the past.

Charlie is a McCain Republican which is not a good thing. But he is not a Democrat.

He's a RINO. I'll hold my nose and vote for him, though. :)

He's a lot better than the 'rat alternative.

As I understand it, Gallagher is a little late to the "real conservative party," too.

You mean if all the GOP can offer is a liberal, you'd write in a conservative? Some RINOs around here aren't going to like that.

The good news about all of this is that both Republican Candidates were clamoring to say things like "in the Jeb Bush" tradition although I never I saw one of them get an endorsement from him.

We'll see what the future will hold.

I think the Florida GOP voters have spoken. It sounds like they just haven't said what YOU wanted to hear.

If you don't like what the voters have said, you may want to send them a message.

Let me get this straight. You would prefer that the Democratic nominee should beat Charlie Crist, a man that Jeb Bush has consistently called "conservative." Wow, with GOP support like that, who needs Democrats?

Time to think about doing a write-in to send a message to the FL GOP...

We did that today - in a democracy it's called "exercising the right to vote". We sent a message to the FL GOP -- the message said we wanted Crist for Governor.

You're right, I'm an idiot...and so are the other 64% of Republicans that supported Crist over Gallagher....and so is Jeb Bush for calling Crist a conservative.

Whatever, buddy. I realize you're pissed right now because your candidate lost, but in the end, we're all Republicans, right? If you can't get behind the GOP candidate that won 64% of the party's vote when November comes around, then why even be part of the GOP?

For some people as long as they have an R after their name, that's enough.

It's not.
Have to wait to see who the Democrats selected today to decide.Perhaps they have a Zell Miller clone...
Personally, I don't much care for any of the proffered candidates, and would be very supportive of a "none of the above" option on the November ballot.
I will not vote for Crist.
He is incapable of representing me, in elected government office.
So, he will not receive my vote.

I've noticed some people have no core values. They can't tell the difference between liberal and conservative, right and wrong, left and right, or any other polar opposites. They just believe what ever they're told to believe.

The Republican Party of Florida boosted his (Crist) campaign with a donation of over $275,000.

http://www.thestraights.com/news/charlie-crist.htm

It is my impression that the FL GOP has been grooming liberal Charlie Crist for a long time, which is why they should be sent a message.

Unfortunately, the excruciating two week murder-by-dehydration of Schiavo will not soon be forgotten by anybody who has a civilized bone in his body. Did Crist have any role in that ugliness? Did he make any public statements about it? If so, then he can fully expect that the issue will come up again and again.

I hope he was on the side of the civilized people.
