You're missing the POINT. The Cheney's will be the biological and emotional grandparents to her child. The dad's name is not available. He was probably a sperm donor...either a known individual to the two women or an anonymous one. Even if we knew who he was, or the fact that we don't know, has got nothing to do with the point. I was answering Types_with_Fist who seemed to suggest there was something wrong with the statement made by the Cheney's that they are eagerly anticipating the birth of their sixth grandchild. DUH...the child is their grandchild, no matter who the dad is. I have already expressed my severe disagreement with the lifestyle of these two women and I don't even like how much the Cheney's have accepted it. But the fact is the fact about the grandchild.

How do you even know if they really are "eagerly anticipating"? If they have any concerns for real family values then this would be a huge disappointment for them.
