Yes, Rudy Giuliani Is a Conservative
City Journal ^ | Jan.25, '07 | Steven Malanga

Personally, I prefer Tancredo although I admire "America's Mayor," and this article sheds some light on Rudy's little known conservative and courageous accomplishments.

If it wasn't for your "in" with the mods, you'd have been shredded here long ago.

Oh, yes, I read where you posted that very same thing over at Liberty Post where you regularly trash Free Republic 24/7.

And the day I'm "shredded" by the likes of you and your vacuous arguments is the day I leave this forum.

Judging from your frantic postings, that won't be anytime soon.

If you "vote your conscience" and it isn't the Republican nominee no matter who it is, you have no conscience and you are no "conservative".

Since Rudy endorsed Cuomo over Pataki in 1994, can we therefore say, once and for all, that he has no conscience and he is no conservative? By your own standards you just expressed here?

Or are these standards just for the little folks?

Don't even pretend you speak for all freepers.

Behind defense, free trade is perhaps my most important issue. I didn't realize that was against the rules these days. Last time I checked, conservatives were die-hard capitalists.

Hello?

Not to confuse you with facts or anything, because I know that taxes your mind, but I posted links to two newspaper articles that called the award Rudy got two different things.

As to the book, at the Ronald Reagan Library Gift Shop, on the main page is a list of book under a heading "Ronald Reagan's Books".

Of all the books listed, only 3 aren't about Reagan himself or presidential modes of transportation. One of the books is Rudy's book Leadership.

Another book is written by Reagan's son and another by John McCaslin.

Now, once a freeper mentioned that one could go to another page within the web site and order children's books, I stopped posting quite so specifically that Rudy's book was one of the few that didn't detail life with Reagan, etc.

It wasn't surprising that you and your buddies (who, btw, are a little to enamored of posting pictures of men dressed in drag) immediately picked up on the fact that there's a children's section of books, since that seems to be your learning curve level.

Please, go to Liberty Post and pull out all of my posts there where I "regularly trash" Free Republic "24/7". I'll wait. Here's the link. Put up or shut up.

Now, don't miss those posts where I defend FR.

And what the heck does this have to do with anything except that you want to start a flame war?

Many people vote their conscience in all elections. Of course, you wouldn't understand that.

OK - you're written off by Batavia as a "can't buy a clue" IQ variety....probably voted for Ross Perot on 'principle'....sigh.

Spiff is over at LP? Well, I'll be. I thought he was a "true" conservative.

Well, I'm off to watch television and contemplate just why it is these grown men seem to be so thoroughly engaged in repeatedly posting pictures of men dressed in drag.

I am not afraid of gay people, and have some gay friends. I don't really care what people do behind closed doors.

It's the support of the gay agenda that bothers me. Normalizing a deviant beahvior is not a good thing, and when they gain high profile supporters like rudy, that helps grant them access to schools, further normalizing a deviant behavior.

I don't want the teaching of fisting in public schools, like happened in newton, MA, to become the norm.

Not to confuse you with facts or anything, because I know that taxes your mind, but I posted links to two newspaper articles that called the award Rudy got two different things.

Just like you cited a Wikipedia article that Reagan signed an abortion bill in 1970. And used that to infer he signed TWO abortion bills, not one.

But the problem is, Spiff pointed out the contradiction to you. And you refused to acknowledge such for several posts, and spewed plenty of insults in the process.

You have shown a distinct failure to vet your own claims. If it were a one-time occurence, it would be one thing. But lately it has been chronic.

And your response to that is to pull a Mary Mapes, yell at your critics, and claim you have been right all along.

We've all seen them. In the BIKER BAR, Spiff!

>And what the heck does this have to do with anything except that you want to start a flame war?

Let's see; you claim if not for protection from the mods, meaning Jim Robinson, I assume, and I reply, and NOW you think it's a flame war?

Interesting.

Oh yes, GOD forgive me for posting FACTS! How dare I do that? I should, of course, allow outright LIES and filthy garbage be posted to this site, this site whose owner has said that one of FR's goals is to get rid of as many elected Dems as is humanly possible.

And naturally, cutting taxes, cutting the size of government, massively reducing the size of welfare rolls, cutting crime, doing away with minority set asides, going up against the UN, Arafat, and the unions and WINNING are all, ALL ultra LIBERAL!

How could I ever have been so misguided as to imagine that those things are in any way, shape, manner, or form CONSERVATIVE?
