Ronald Reagan had one litmus test he applied to candidates. Were they Republicans? If they were he backed them all the way. Proof that Reagan was, indeed, wrong sometimes.

He said something about his sister-in-law's sister had a botched abortion. Dunno if she died or what. But it could be a compelling conversion. Tie it up with his wife, who has MS, who says she doesn't want to be cured of it by sacrificing unborn children for embryonic research.
