Anyone who wants "brownshirt behavior" probably ought to sign on to smirkingchimp.org, or another one of the George Soros abominations.

There's some real "brownshirts" out there these days and they're taking over the Democratic party piece by piece. They nailed a Senate seat here in Virginia for example ~ that Webb guy is definitely a "brownshirt" if there ever was one. Even got caught trying to slip an unaccounted for pistol into the Capitol too!

If, unhappily, Rudy becomes the Republican nominee, I may grudgingly vote for him, but it would be the most unpleasant of the ten I will have cast. Not that my vote for him would really matter, as I live in solidly Democratic CaliPornia.

I found FR in 1998 because Drudge had it listed on his main page with the other hundred or so sites and columnists, even as Lucianne still is. I don't recall the specifics, but my vague memory is that Drudge became unhappy with the anti-Clinton vitriol all over FR and delisted it. There was probably more to it than that, though.
