If this article is indeed true, then Mr. Robinson and many anti Guiliani posters here are clearly reserving their support for a candidate with a clear anti gay, anti abortion under-any-circumstances agenda to enter the race.
Since I suspect it will be a long wait, they should signal their intention not to vote at all in 2008 right now because no such serious candidate exists.
As an aside, I find it hard to accept that Mr. Robinson would actively engage in a “purge” of posters expressing pro Guiliani views. To do so would eliminate many conservative posters (and readers) whose views are refreshingly divergent on matters that should be openly debated in a democracy. To actively discourage these different views would result in this web site becoming of interest to only one issue, far right fanatics who agree with each other on everything. What a bore that would be!

Your comment might apply to most GOP candidates, but not to Rudy Giuliani. His well-documented track record is one of hard-core, radical leftism (it’s important to note that I specifically did not say just “liberalism”) on way too many issues for him to be given any credence on a conservative website.
