I had three members of a church I don’t belong to come to my house recently and try to strong arm me into going to their church

My church has a door-to-door ministry. I'm not involved with it, but I like their style. If the door is answered, they identify the church they're from, ask if the person has any specific prayer requests they'd like the congregation to pray for, let them know they're always welcome, and that's that. No proselytizing allowed.

That sounds like a fine church. I daresay that is exactly what Jesus would tell them to do.

That is a wonderful approach. It was NOT the approach of these three, though. They never asked if I had a prayer request, and when I attempted to share a little of my testimony the lead proselytizer brushed it off with an, ‘We all go through things’ remark. It certainly didn’t incline me to drop in for a visit at their church, I can tell you that.
