I totally agree with you. Church is a time for reverence and worship. I hate it when people draw attention to themselves by saying Amen or some other things. As for speaking in tongues, if I ever saw that I think I would run screaming out of the church.

I would not feel comfortable in a church where the people are vocal and charismatic.

Then don’t go. I go to that kind of church and it’s very family oriented and people love the Lord. People aren’t drawing attention to themselves by saying Amen. It’s something they feel deeply. We have people there who don’t raise their hands or speak vocally. We have some who speak in tongues but not a whole lot. I have a prayer language of tongues but do not have the gift of tongues with the interpretation. Don’t curse what God is doing in these last days.
