"...that is no fun for the summer."

There are a couple different versions soft tops. The bikini is about the mos utilitarian if you don't need to seat more than two people...

I've been pretty gunshy about soft tops since my Miata roof got sliced so somebody could get to some items I had in my front seat :-(

Agreed. No way will I buy any vehicle produced by a company that’s even *partially* owned by a Maoist organization like the United Auto Paycheck Recipients.

Agreed. I currently have a C5, the fifth Corvette to pass through my family, I previously had a Z-28, about the 4th one in my famly, a father who works for a Chevrolet dealership and its gonna be tough finding anything that will fill the void. I’ve driven just about anything that “compares” and nothing really does. I absolutely refuse to pay $40k for a Challenger, the Mustang doesnt match the power, and obnoxiously loud turbo 4-cylinders really arent my thing.

Totally agree. this is tough on me, being a Chevy man myself...sounds like you are too, to a whole other degree.

The Challenger is really cool looking, nice and powerful, but heavy and overpriced...I’m afraid Chrysler is going to do like Ford did with the Thunderbird. Sure, people love the classic look, but don’t demand a hefty premium for it...

My dream car is a ‘69 Stingray w/ an L-88...sidepipes and all. I can dream, can’t I??? =)

I never cared for GM products anyway. I always thought they were overpriced. I’ve been a Ford man all my life but I’ve decided my next car and all others after that will be Toyotas.

Watch these foreign car manufacturers take off after the dust settles. GM will be subsidized by US taxpayers several times over after all is said and done. Any government-control product or company should be boycotted. Sad state of affairs.
