Your issues with Free Republic excepted (as I have no knowledge of the facts involved) actions like this are understandable, as the destroyers of freedom have ensured the oppression of free speech by fear placed on the individual through their own legal system.
One mustn't blame the people responsible for one's comments, as they ultimately will endure the ramifications of it, should it fall foul of corrupt and unfair 'Free Speech' Legalese terminology.

I urge you PC to not succumb to the pressures of their system, as this plays directly into their hands.
They got their oppressive system installed thus far by small, sometimes tiny, progressive steps, and freedom seeking people must start to do the same, if they place a block in front of us, we must navigate strategically round it, not bounce back off it.

Why not email Admin and ask why they deleted your post? It may be simple terminology on your part that put the site in dubious legal territory.

Freedom seeking people the World over are becoming the minority at an alarming rate, and places like FR are dwindling too.
I'm British, and I don't agree with many, many things I read on FR, some of it I find offensive, but with that in mind, I still think that FR is a good place to communicate, even with people I sometimes simply don't agree with.

Why not email Admin and ask why they deleted your post?

One doesn't even know it was -deleted- by conscious admin decision, as opposed to fat fingered by my old hands, or zapped by some cosmic ray hitting an overheated RAM chip.

Once again ... to repeat myself (sorry). The why is only a secondary issue. Web forums get to choose their own whys and why nots. A simple explanation of why is useful, so one knows where not to waste time composing posts that will only serve to irritate the admins in the future.

But the mere fact that it was intentionally pulled is never visible to the poster (unless they can happen to still have that old post link that no longer exists on any usual FR page.)

Thank you for that quote. I only remember hearing about the “We will bury you” part. It is scary what’s happening now...the Left has been tirelessly working on controlling this country for decades. And yes, Free Republic is a life line.
