Still no commet about the line called “Christian name” whereas it omits the last name Obama.
The Christian name is listed as Barack Hussein. (No Obama)
Is this why Obama did not want to be called Hussein?
Was he intentionally denying his Christian name?
Or do I just not understand how the term ‘christian name’ is used?
christian name is given or first name and can include middle name while surname is last name-see father surname
The Christian name, also known as the given name or first name, does not refer to the surname, which is also known as the family name or the last name.
Bingo.
Think "Given Name" he was given the name Barack Hussein II, he was born an Obama.
Together his given and family names make up his full name.

(1)Subject to this Act, all law which, whether being a rule of law or a provision of an Act of Parliament or of any other enactment or instrument whatsoever, was in force on 12th December 1964, or, having been passed or made before that date, comes or has come into force thereafter, shall, unless and until provision to the contrary is made by Parliament or some other authority having power in that behalf, have the same operation in relation to Kenya, and persons and things belonging to or connected with Kenya, as it would have apart from this subsection if Kenya had not become a Republic.
(2)This section applies to law of, or of any part of, the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and, in relation only to any enactment of the Parliament of the United Kingdom or any Order in Council made by virtue of any such enactment whereby any such enactment applies in relation to Kenya, to law of any other country or territory to which that enactment or Order extends.

The "Christian" part of your FRName would be "TheBig". Your son's "Christian" name might be "TheLittle" -- assuming your "Family" name is "IF"...
;-)
I am amazed that folks don’t know the difference between the “Christian Name” and the “Family’ name.
In my case, my “Christian” name is “John” and my “family name is “Valentine”.
In the case at hand, the child’s “Christian Name” was “Barack Hussein” and his family name was “Obama”.
His full name, therefore was, guess what! Barack Hussein Obama!
Voila!
