You bring up a point I didn't think of - the Feb '64 date. Thinking it was a given but no realizing how it had to fit w/in a scenario. Someone posted here - Ann's filing for divorce in Jan 64 and it was final on Mar 64.
Well, you gave me 'some' hope back. However, can't dismiss the "Republic" thing.

However, can't dismiss the "Republic" thing. While you can't dismiss it entirely, the Dominion of Kenya effectively ceased to exist in December 1963 and I suspect that in anticipation of the finalization of the independent federal government, local governments probably started printing up their official documents with "The Republic of Kenya" in January of 1964. We need to see some other documents from this period and see if they have the same titles.
How hard could that be to find?
