But the choices were never easy. At first Demjanjuk was conscripted into the Red Army, then into the German army. But what choices were given to him? Join us or work to death in a forced labor factory? The Germans have a lot of nerve putting this man on trial. They were the ones who forced their will upon him. They have no right to try him. And reasonable and fair minded person could see this.
