(Vanity) Curious here who watches "Gangland" on the History channel?

One of the best documentaries on television IMO.

Everytime I watch, I feel a need to go out and buy ammo.

Gangs are a cancer on this nation, and they are not taken seriously enough. IMO, even membership in a violent gang should warrant capitol punishment.

This is a documentary everyone should see.

If you really want see bad*** show watch Border wars that show on National Geographic or if you want COPS show watch Alaska State troopers they got some crazy cases up there in Alaska

Sir, you don't know the half of it. I am quite familiar with the feelings that Mexican-American gang bangers and others in the Mexican-American community feel concerning our African-American compatriots. The thing that I find most humorous is that the African-American democrat caucus supports illegal immigration and the importation of these huge numbers of hispanic immigrants from Mexico and Central America that basically feel that the blacks are lazy targets.

It's a cultural thing and it is deep within the culture to despise "mayates". If the African-Americans were worried about the Klan in the 19th Century, the 21st Century brings on MS-13, "la eme", Norteños, Sureños, and just a bunch of gangs that actively hunt down and clear out communities.

They don't appear to have any qualms about just how they remove people as long as they're gone. Scary guys.

Yup, I’ve seen it a number of times. In a way, many of these gangs are worse than the classic Mafia types. They’re a hell of a lot more indiscriminate in their use of violence, and no one seems to be “off limits”.

I also tend to agree with the poster commenting about MS-13 amd the like. Some of these gangs are bad enough we ought to be treating them as a domestic threat to national security (because they are).

Last spring, my school sent us to a conference for alternative ed teachers. One of the breakout sessions was on identifyinig gang activity, presented by a cop who specalizes in gangs in our state. He told us what was on Gangland was only scratching the surface of whats going on in this country with gangs. It’s actually much, much worse and much more insideous than what they tell you in that show, as bad as it is.
