What exactly can we cut? Is that a suggestion that there is nothing we can cut out of our bloated bureaucracy and other government expenditures? Aside from cuts which I am not in a position to enumerate, the Porkulous bill (still largely unspent for those shovel-ready projects that never were)should never have been passed along with the monster known as Obamacare, whose damaging effects are gradually becoming known.

America is in debt, but there are some things-- such as security, infrastructure, education, etc-- that we just can't afford not to buy. What exactly can we cut?I differ. It is TIME to DownSize DC! Close entire departments beginning with the U.S. Department of Education. If it cost nothing, it would still make sense to close it. The quality of education in the U.S. would improve if the PC crap forced by the current U.S. Dept of Education did not exist. (EPA?, TSA?, PBS?, etc)
