When I was a kid we had a rodeo stock contractor keep his bulls in a pasture next to our house. Can you imagine being six years old and standing there face to face with a Brahma bull through a hogwire/two strand barb wire fence? One, “Old E” jumped over the fence into our pasture then hopped over another fence and left. The last I saw of him a kid was leading him back home behind a motorcycle. He was one that hardly anyone could ride, but after the rodeo they would put little kids on him and take their picture...

I’m glad you wrote that, because I’ve known bulls that were not the least bit ornery. I suspect it is whether they are raised with human contact from the time they’re calved.
