So this is the new leftist humor? Wonkette attacked Sarah Palin’s baby Trig on his birthday.

This is disgusting- even for Wonkette.
That strange man yelling unintelligibly at Sarah Palin? He’s merely a lowly shepherd proclaiming the birth of our savior. Today is the day we come together to celebrate the snowbilly grifter’s magical journey from Texas to Alaska to deliver to the America the great gentleman scholar Trig Palin. Is Palin his true mother? Or was Bristol? (And why is it that nobody questions who the father is? Because, either way, Todd definitely did it.) It doesn’t matter. What matters is that we are privileged to live in a time when we can witness the greatest prop in world political history.

Minds that think like this are too malevolent for me to even want to understand. It was one of the hazards of criminal/terrorist profiling. To have to put your mind in the mind of an evil madman/woman will burn you out quickly.

When I first saw this Trig thing last night, I simply could not sleep. Then when I read your comments just now (while still half awake here in SF), I was gratified to see someone else has come to the same conclusion. I thank you for highlighting our dilemma: we are dealing with more than just another election. I fear that it appears to be more close to the “end prophecy”. I hope not, but if that is the case, there should be no fear to those who are not left behind.
