I worked at a bank in the late 60’s and every check or loan form was typed the same. We had the margin numbers set and tabs set, so you didn’t have to space forward. You just hit the tab button. All my documents looked the same. And yes, as obsessive compulsive, I centered those tabs.
Glad to hear that ~ you made it much easier for the blind or those with failing eyesight (we have TENS of millions of such folks). It’s much easier to read the info in the center of the box than at the margins of the box where “noise” from the borders can cause trouble.
