I hear you, but you and I have seen this sort of situation play out before with Nixon.

IMO, the most likely replay is that when the posse is closing in (that would be the court of public opinion) the de facto president resigns and then gets a full pardon from Biden to spare a large portion of the public the trauma of seeing the precious one in the dock and realizing how stupid they were!
