An opportunity for a new public union? The smoking ban enforcement police. Of course it's still legal to smoke on sidewalks, so the most annoying form of outdoor smoking is just fine.

This was just another women's issue that went too far just like prohibition.

They just played it diffeently...that's all. Legal....but you can't do it anywhere. Does that make any sense??

Same folks that think it's okay to kill unborn babies...but smoke???....oh my!!

Laughing out loud will be banned next by these control freaks, because someone who’s got the blues will feel left out and that will affect their self esteem.

And the police will be busy handing out fines while the burglars are breaking into your home. Or, they’ll need more policemen and higher taxes to pay for it.

Modus Operendi of tyrants. Twist the screws until the people are forced to rise up and make things right. But always be sure to outlaw something that is already unpopular with at least half the people. That's why we have a two-party system. The democrats can always be counted on to vote the way of tyranny. Freedom be damned.
