Martin Bashir’s MSNBC Show Gets a Premiere Date

The addition of Bashir adds another high-profile name to the MSNBC lineup since the abrupt departure of “Countdown” host Keith Olbermann.
MSNBC announced Bashir’s hiring last July. The British-born Bashir worked for the BBC prior to anchoring ABC’s “Nightline.”
He is perhaps best known for the controversial 2003 interview special “Living With Michael Jackson,” which sparked an investigation into the pop singer’s relationship with minors at his Neverland Ranch.
