Sarah Palin should have known better than to take her ridiculous circus of a bus tour to New York City, because she got exactly what she deserved once she arrived. Someone attached a sign reading "I, the Media Whore" to her silly Constitution-emblazoned freak show.
Palin's behemoth bus, part of her east coast "non media, non political" (yeah right) tour, was parked outside Fox News studios where Sarah made an appearance on the network (by which she is also employed). Not content to smile and nod as people have done when she showed up at other locations, one honest New Yorker told it like it is, and replaced the "We, the people" portion of the bus' artwork with a handmade sign that said "I, the Media Whore."
The anonymous sign maker was lucky to get close enough to the bus to plant the poster—not even members of the actual media have been able to keep up with Palin's bizarre tour as she drives (well, is driven at any rate—and not in a bus, she rides in a comfortable luxury SUV in front of the bus) from state to state. She refuses to release a schedule and claims her media circus isn't for the "lamestream media" (read: any press outlet that asks her complicated questions like "What's your favorite book?").
The sign, sadly, was taken down after only a few minutes, but the blog Rumproast got their hands on a few pictures of it.
This is probably the biggest story to come out of this entire ridiculous "tour," but of course, the media probably won't cover the most important point it raises: Is Sarah Palin really a media whore?
The answer? You betcha.
