Saying Bachmann and Perry are the same??? Wow, is this guy lost. Not even close.
Professor Schultz appears to have gotten all that he knows about the Right from other Leftists- who don’t know anything about the Right, either.
This is so backwards that it reads like satire.
“Romney is in trouble. In theory the frontrunner, but he is the frontrunner in a GOP party that no longer exists. He is part of the old Reagan Republican Party (along with Pawlenty) now fading.”
Darn near spit my coffee all over the screen after reading this....this moron writing this has NO clue whatsoever...
I’m ok with Bachmann but hope most of the people who voted for her were voting for Tea Party. As for Romney — McCain was in trouble 4 years ago, too. If Romney’s in trouble after NH, we can call it trouble.
(snicker)
I wonder what The Skipper thought of his article.
The guy is a former Air America host.
The “school” (use the trem loosly here) is a lib bastion of the highest order. You can get a “Degree” in African American Studies, Social Justice, and other nonsense.
Those that aren’t familiar with this place should look at their website. They are nutty lefties at Hamline.
2ndDivisionVet - You are right in something you have been asserting. They really fear Sarah Palin, and anyone like her. I’m amazed that they think that Palin and others like her are far from being Reagans. Either his memory, or mine is terrible flawed.
Only an academic idiot would consider the 60% the Tea Party represents as extreme and the 20% obozo represents as mainstream.
Pray for America
People like this clown who talk about what a moderate Reagan was would have been part of he group calling him too radical to win a national election, and calling Ford the traditional conservative.
Here is what the establishment was saying about Reagan before the election:

“A Reagan Republican running in a Palin party” is such a crappy throw-away line. The author is an idiot.
I worked for both Presidents Carter and Reagan, so I know better.
Really, the guy who famously boasted that he was no supporter of Reagan? If anything, he might represent the George H. W. Bush Republican party. In any event, Perry is the new establishment candidate, replacing the unacceptable Romney.
What is he smoking?
