I think Sarah wanted to run, I think she always planned to run but something happened to make her bow out.....
That being said....
There is NO one to take her place....there is no one out there who can take the fight to Bambi, none of the milk toast candidates we have has her balls and if she was going to get out she should have done it months ago and spared all the hurt and grief that folks are feeling now...
And this nonsense that she is going to still be our champion, she doesn’t realize that no one that is the enemy is scared of her anymore, and the creeps are already using this against her, saying THEY WERE RIGHT about her and we, who loved her and believed in her were wrong....even right here on this thread.....
I listened to Mark say she’ll still be out there but it doesn’t matter, she was our Knight in the game, the pure and honest one who would stand up to all the comers, and now she is gone.
I care about America and America needs Sarah Palin, not Romeny or Perry or any other flavor of the month....they were just marking time until the Big dog arrived, and she bailed out on us.....
America deserved better.....I am sorry, but this is real life, and if the family is going to have it rough, then they have it rough and you fight for your cause even if some get hurt, because that what George Washington did and that’s the man we need now.....
But the man we need is a woman: and her name is Sarah Palin and I pray the Lord speaks to her and brings her back to the fight.....and we will be there for her.
I know you’ve been a big Palin supporter, and so have I. None bigger. I’m both enormously disappointed, and yet oddly content over her decision. There’s no need to wig out, and I say this with utmost respect. If we know anything about Palin, we should be confident about her decision. She knows the lay of the land, and is going to chart the correct course. I have total, unequivocal faith in her. The rampant, insane hate that has been ginned up against her by the media alters the playing-field, and once again (as in Nov. 2008) history might not seem to be veering in a direction we’d like. She hasn’t given up on us. Not by a long-shot. You’re looking through too narrow prism. Sleep on it tonight. Seriously.
I’ll even make a prediction. The GOP candidates are going to get shredded by the vile scum in the media next year. And Palin’s stature and influence will rise, as a populist ‘voice of the people,’ as the country descends into further social chaos. It benefitted her to be a potential GOP candidate these past two years, and alternately, it will benefit her to ‘not’ be one next year. The political class will be loathed. She can then parlay this however she wants.
