And for the folks who shop at WalMart, they don't give a rats ass where the stuff is made just as long as it fits in their price range.....that's just the way it is homie.

This is obvious. I'm in Walmart sometimes. I see who shops there. About 10 miles from me in a ritzy neighborhood, the Walmart there has all kinds of new iron parked outside. Its shoppers are doing well
But this is besides the point. All those commie made goods and electronics on the shelves are bad for America. You put up tariffs, slash EPA regulations and do other things to bring jobs home. This means more taxpayers and less taxes you and me have to payout to those on the dole in one form or another

In that case, shut down all hospitals, airlines/airports, tell cops and firemen to take the day off as well as utility workers, etc. /s

People DO work on holidays. I did when I worked for a major airline.

Thanks for the real life details. I also think your observation here is important: the average consumer is really tapped out and I just do not see holiday sales being that great ...

The fall in real wages is significant, and is increasing with inflation. It is a problem for the whole economy, and blaming those who don't earn high wages does not help.

In all fairness, who wants to get trampled to death by Holder’s people, Hell-bent on getting a new TV?

Somehow, I believe you when you point out that you don’t understand the meaning of ‘take’ as it was presented.

Boy, are you a moron. Walmart has unbelievably generous profit sharing and 401k plans. All that was set up decades ago by Ms Helen, Sam Walton’s wife. You sound like a bitter, jealous union plant.

Because they are TAKING money from Walmart, then turning around and bitching about it.

Earn....earn...A little slip of the keyboard eh?

If Walmart could find zombies who didn't need to eat or rest, they fire every single human working for them in a second.

Right, she should go find another job that doesn’t exist. Gonna clue you in, the job market is tighter than 20-30 years ago and wages are lower when you look what you can buy with your take home. Your mind is locked into a bygone era.

I might be as old as you but I can see what is going on in the wage slave market these days

Walmart has great jobs and benefits!!!

You should be on Obama's campaign staff...Do some commercials:

"They economy is great, we have 700 WalMart jobs available, and plan on 5 more supercenters next year"

The real point is NO ONE is forced to work or shop at Walmart. If you are an employee and don’t like the way they treat employees- QUIT. If you are a customer and don’t like how they do business- then don’t shop there. It really is very simple.

I’m already on record as saying the Black Friday and December 26 openings are getting absurdly early. I’m not saying they don’t have the right to run their business that way. They do. It’s still absurd.

Back in my earliest shift days, I rotated day/night. I routinely offered to work New Years Eve night shift, ending my shift at 7AM Jan. 1. Unfortunately, Jan 1 was considered my “day off” and I was always bounced back to day shift Jan. 2. Eventually, I did a gig with straight nights. Then I got out of hospital work.

Good post. We have overbearing posters here (Narses, Balding Eagle) that think you are a serf who should never speak up here about WalMart being dysfunctional sometimes
False. In fact we have encouraged the whiners, union promoters and generic liberals to find a different job or a different place to work if they do not like Walmart. And a different place to post if they think that ATTACKING FReepers, telling lies about FReepers or encouraging unions is a good idea.
If you speak up here-— Well that’s whining and complaining. Meanwhile Narses is complaining as fast as he can type to JimRob and the Admin Moderator. Pot, kettle, black. Nuff said
ROTFLMAO! At least this "VANITY" is in the Smokey Back Room now and not out in front, thanks Jim!

Then it's time to quit bitching. If what you say is true, then there is much to be happy about by having a job.

And quit making life miserable for those around.

Were you the one who volunteered to test for red ant repellants too?
