Being an SDA, if Sunday became a mandatory day of rest, there would be a good chance I’d starve, because it would be difficult to find a job that would allow me to keep the Sabbath holy.
Actually, there are many places of business that are open on Saturday. Also, there ARE employers who are willing to work with you on this issue, especially if you are a valuable employee.
My overall consideration in the previous posts was the celebration of Thanksgiving...a national day of prayer. Perhaps I did not make that very clear.
My use of past history was that of an example of how we, as a nation, have lost something important. Our God became things.....instead of the Giver of all things.
