Oops: Red Jacket Firearms Loses Their FFL (Sons of Guns)
The Truth About Guns ^ | December 23, 2011 | Dan Zimmerman

Things went swimmingly until 2009 … when the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms conducted a routine inspection of RJF and discovered 10 guns registered to the company could not be accounted for … a big, BIG problem. We’re told the feds pinned the blame on William and Stephanie — and were looking to take serious action that could have resulted in the end of RJF.

But law enforcement sources tell us … the Hayden’s struck a deal with feds in 2010, in which the two agreed to surrender their gun-making licenses … and in exchange, they could appoint a LICENSED person to take over the company. It didn’t take long for William and Stephanie to pick their successor … they went with Vincent Buckles… — another gunsmith often featured on the reality show.

Yes, that’s a scary thought indeed.

In the stress of a shooting, someone could simply say they pulled the wrong trigger in the wrong hand a blew someone away instead of tasing them.

>>providing military weapons to civilian law enforcement.<<

Oh man, my thoughts exactly. Couldn't understand why a Sheriff would need a grenade launcher or that caliber of machine gun.

DHS has been providing millions in grant money to upgrade local law enforcement agencies with military hardware across the nation.

Spy drones here in Montgomery co. Texas that can be equipped with shotguns, teargas and so forth.

Curious why?

Anyone had similar experiences?

There is NO need for a Police dept to have any belt fed weapons. If it comes to deploying such weapons then the police lost all control of the situation.
Whats next: A10s with sirens and blinkers?

The internet is a crazy place - damned if there isn't a picture of an A-10 with "State Trooper" written across it's wing and flashing lights on top!
