I am of Irish descent and really can’t see either the Irish or Scots (of bolder days) letting this clown have a second shot at the lass.
I am scot/Irish, meaning, I have been told, that my Scot ancestor went to Ireland to hide out before they could make it to America. Most of them hid out in the Mountains of the then colonies which later became states after the revolution. Many of them took place in the battle of Kings Mountain. They were called, in the parlance of the day, over mountain men, and they hated the British.
