Apparently her idea of journalistic ethics is it's okay to libel someone as long as the victim ignores you while you do it. I disagree.
I know I'm not Buckhead and I know Cheryl Phillips isn't Dan Rather but this still isn't right. We shouldn't allow citizen journalists to knowingly spread a lie. Chick-fil-A deserves a retraction. I can't get it on my own but if enough FReepers call her out we might be able to call attention to the truth.
Jim Henson is an opportunist then. Chick Fil A did issue a recall of his toys and he retaliated. What a low rotten move on his part. He ought to be ashamed.
By the way, went to Mass tonight and afterward asked a friend to dinner at Chick Fil A. They had a little bit of a wait—were making everything fresh!
Stand up for Chic-Fil-A Chicago !!! America’s chickens, are coming home to roost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess the recall explains why my youngest received a coupon for free ice cream, instead of a book or toy, with his kid’s meal this past week. Hey, Henson Co. - He was much happier with that than he would’ve been with a puppet.
I always knew Bert and Ernie were still infectious.

It’s one thing to tolerate what someone else does in the privacy of the home. But when the homosexual lobby wants total ACCEPTANCE of their perverted lifestyle, it’s way PAST TIME to draw the line. When y’all want to rub your perversions in our face, did you stop to think there might be some push-back? It’s time the homosexual two percent realized that the world doesn’t revolve around them and their lifestyle choices.
But, in point of fact, Mr. Cathy did NOT SAY ONE WORD ABOUT homosexual “marriage.” He stated that he believed in traditional marriage and nothing more. The “media,” led by CNN, IIRC, simply made up the story, as they are oft wont to do. And self-righteous jerks used those lies to attack a good man and his company.
