We can only imagine how delighted San Franciscans were yesterday when they learned their hometown baseball team had weighed in on the whole Chick-fil-A flap with this pointed post:
SNIP
Although we wouldn't put it past the Giants to pop off in defense of gays, this Facebook message, which, by the way got eight likes in a matter of seconds, was nothing but a bored hacker at work.
According to sports blogs, the Giants were one of many baseball teams whose Facebook accounts were hacked this week. It all started when the Yankees posted this very surprising message about team captain Derek Jeter.
We regret to inform our fans that Derek Jeter will miss the rest of the season with sexual reassignment surgery. He promises to come back stronger than ever in 2013 as Minnie Mantelz.
All the posts, some funny and some not so funny, have since been deleted, but fortunately, you can still read screenshots of them here.
Explitive? Can't find it in my dictionary.
Oh, THOSE Giants! < /wiping away sweat >
