“Im a liberal Christian”
This is all I needed to hear. What she means is I am a phony.
She has nothing to say.
To compound your apt comments about this vile creature, being a liberal and Christian is simply not possible. Although not all Conservatives are necessarily Christian, all true Christians are Conservative by definition. The intersection of liberals and Christians forms the null set.
Exactly, she says,
“Im a liberal Christian, sixty-two year old female, Democrat and retired educator (in order of importance to me).”
Well she is truthful about the order and we know the first always trumps all others. Though she was probably not truthful in that she is more likely a retired indoctrinator than educator.
Ah, I'm a little confused. Did you mean the above to read:
What she meant is, "I am a phony."
Is this the sense?
To my thinking as a fundamental, New Testament regenerated believer-disciple, the phrase "liberal Christian" is a contradiction. Which is what I think you are also saying. {?}
Now having been disappointed with their life choices, they are bitter, revanchist, and vengeful.
They will vote left/liberal until they die, never researching the real issues, because it makes them feel good.
