I don’t see Romney’s comments as the “fatal error” that the MSM is trying to make them out to be.

I think it was a democrat on TV put it this way, Makers vs Takers. I like that. If Makers don't make it, Takers can't take it. In a sense, I am a Taker, I am a retired civil service employee. I get paid every month by the Government. But I know that if business is restrained by regulations and high taxes they can't "make it" that is profits that allow them to pay taxes to the Government, so that I can be paid. The Takers should be rooting for and voting for Romney to keep the tax coffers full so they can benefit. When the Makers can't made it there will be nothing for the Takers to take. End of ride..
The ignorant chattering class thought they were jumping on the bandwagon of something "historic". Too many white people wanted to tell the world, "See? I'm a good person!" Add to that simpleton mentality the fact that the GOP candidate, McCain, decided to run "an honorable campaign", and you have the perfect crapstorm for the election of an African communist as President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
The "historic" thing is over now. The ignorant chattering class has been there, done that. (They already proved that they are good people, lol.) This time around they will (hopefully) get a little more serious about saving the United States.
