“That’s why I am not voting for him (Romney) and Juan Williams’ advice is sound.”

Obama and Juan thank you. I am sure Juan has conservatives’ best interest at heart... you are wise to take his advice. (If anyone can’t figure out my comment is sarcasm, they must be Democrats)

Obama thanks you.

Conservative Republicans are like the stereotypical battered wife. We just keep coming back for more because we don’t know any better and cant imagine that it could be any better. But it is hard to walk away from the one that you know for the unknown.

Wrong. There is no unknown. There are two scenarios. Romney wins, or Obama wins. Our other chances were in primaries. I tried. I voted for Santorum in Michigan.

If Conservatives protest and vote for third party, Obama wins. Period. Worse yet, it's a four year lame duck Obama.

Third parties since 1856 have failed to get anything close to a plurality in congress, senate, or the presidency. Even Teddy Roosevelt failed as a third party. They were a failure, are a failure, and will likely always be a failure for many reasons, and I'll be happy to go into detail about it at another point.

At some point conservative Republicans need to follow our own advice.

No, what conservative Republicans need to do is get off their butts, stop complaining, and get involved in the party and party apparatus and start thinking long term.

If Romney was so good, why wasn’t he the nominee in 2008?

I have my theories, at the risk of sounding silly and it even sounds silly to me but I can see it happening. Romney had a good chance to win. McCain did not. We had to have our first Affirmative Action President. McCain sold out because it was the plan. Even Sarah Palin said so publicly. A Black Republican nominee was shot down and crucified. Couldn't have him stealing any of the Black vote. Did anybody notice how fast all of the qualified GOP candidates dropped out before they settled on McCain?

Well, they had their chance and now it's time for a real American to take control. People had to see first hand how evil the Democrats really are. The really bad thing is that after Obama, NO Black person will have a chance to win for a very long time. That is a shame because there are good qualified conservative Black people out there.

A box of rocks is smarter than Juan Williams. Mitt Romney is to the left of Obama? I was leary about Romney’s conservatism but I was pleasantly surprised by his debate performance. Add numbers to the House, take over the Senate and I like our chances for real reform.

"Mitt Happens"

OH, HO, HO, HO - That is so funny tears are just flinging out of my eyes./s

Are you really, in any shape or form, a Conservative?

I'm really curious - I haven't come across any Conservative that would point to Juan Williams as giving sound advice.

I'll have to check but I thing I split a gut at your post. What are you thinking? Not voting is to really give Obama a vote up on Romney.

goldstategop, I hope you reconsider and vote for Romney/Ryan.

Another hold your nose, vote, go home and take a long hot shower, year for me. Another in a long long string of such elections.

But I promise this is the last time. (and no I did not promise that in any past election).

The only thing I wish for from Romney is that Obama is no longer the President.

If I get that, and if that’s all I get, I will be satisfied.

For five minutes.

Bush’s drug program kept government smaller than it would otherwise have been - paying for medical complications. We’re stuck with Medicare, might as well implement win-wins when you can. Romney understands this. Romney’s biggest win-win will be lowering the tax rates and broadening the base by eliminating deductions for the rich - something David Brooks has been advocating for some time. Ironically Romney will raise taxes on the rich - the biggest thing Obama has failed to do. We’re gonna pay for this thing now and not put it upon our children with interest later.

Gee Juan thanks for your concern. The only sound thing about about William’s advice is that it is coming from a solidly racist foundation.

JW is voting for Obama because he is black. If he really thought Romney was a liberal, he would fall all over himself to praise him.

A lot of white folks saved Williams when he was fired from his NPR gig. Maybe Juan should go back there...ooops, can’t do that. Even NPR doesn’t want him.

I am pretty sure your decision to not vote for Romney isn’t based on anything that the lame brained Williams is advising. Reality Check? Here is the Reality Check.

Obama has got to go. End of story. Nothing else to say!!
