Four more years of Obama: America will move forward (Cover your keyboard)
The Pueblo Chieftain ^ | November 25, 2012 | Major Dave Mynatt (US Army, Retired)

Posted on 11/25/2012 1:14:01 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

I have a slightly different perception of the recent election than many of my friends on the political right.

I believe the Republican leadership must now be in some form of catatonic fixation about the results, seeming to believe anything but the obvious and clear: Americans reject the Republican philosophy.

In reviewing the election cycle, some things are so clear they cannot be ignored. The Republican money machine must have known from the beginning that it could not win the election on a comparison of principle or policies.

Instead, it salted the country with elected and appointed officials who distorted and impeded established voting procedures, manipulated the balloting process and attempted to disenfranchise large numbers of legal voters.

This was done in an attempt to redistribute and rebalance the vote potential from the urban to rural electorate. It failed in large part because it was transparent, every one saw it for what it was.

Looking at the facts, one has but to glance at the red- and blue-colored maps to see the base distribution for both parties. Rural America seems prone to the Republican philosophy, but cities, where business concentrates, go Democratic.

Likewise, it is a tiresome argument that there is no free lunch. Of course not. Not for anyone. Not at anytime. Those who think that our roads, police, firefighters, water, electric and communications utilities were just recently built forget it was our parents who did that. Our parents paid taxes, sacrificed their sons and fathers and husbands in times of war and national turmoil...

a comparison of principle or policies
no policy, no plan, no budget and no principles. MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD and boner couldnt wait to announce that bungholecare is the law of the land and we are ready to sit down and agree to anything you say. If the conservatives do not pound the rinos into the ground early we may have to seek a new party. They need to investigate voter fraud and come out with it. The feckless splineless GOP lost twice and they have the balls to talk about 2016 and jeb bush. Im done

Americans don’t even know what the Republican philosphy encompasses. It has not been expressed in a long time and it’s totally suppressed from the education and experience of most minorities and newer immigrants.

Being ignorant about American freedom life and ideology is not the same as rejecting it. They flock here for America’s wealth not understanding the wealth was built on a foundation of constitutional freedom and a moral self governance which created independence and wealth. They will know when it’s gone, but won’t have a clue why it’s gone.

Dave Mynatt - Pipl Directory active in Pueblo Democratic politics, is a retired U.S. Army major and ...

64 year old Democrat ... If a man is young and illiberal is hard-hearted, an old liberal is soft-headed.
He probably talks to himself. Say no more, say no more.

The Republicans are missing the obvious and clear. They think it is about demographics and the need for increased pandering. But he is missing it, too.

The reality of the last election has been warned against for hundreds of years. He only needs to read what the great political philosophers of the ages have written. It's the political tipping point that occurs when the Takers outnumber the Makers. The quotes from political writers on this topic alone could fill many pages.

But this writer acknowledging that fact makes him not on the side of "intellectual progress" as he sees himself, but part of the lazy non-producers and their supporters. That view is a lot less romantic.

Fine, after the the big split Major Mynatt can live in the new Socialist States of America where 50% of the population will not be educated enough to do more than menial jobs. But there won’t be enough menial jobs for these people, and a very high percentage of them would be on some sort of gov. welfare. I’m sure Major Mynatt and the rest of the libs won’t mind having 90% of their pay taken away to support the nonworkers. It would be fun to watch.

It has been maintained for years that this republic would only last until people found that they could vote for free hand outs, its here.
