The organization we refer to as the "Nazi party" was officially known as the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei , or National Socialist German Worker's Party; its initials were NSDAP, and these letters can be seen on countless standards held by members of the Hitler-Jugend or by workers or soldiers.
The word "Nazi" is actually a sort of abbreviation, or portmanteau... similar to calling members of the IWW "wobblies."
Of course the Left has been trying to pin the "right wing" label on the Nazis for decades, with varying levels of success. The Low-Information (or left) side of the bell curve may believe it; the other side probably doesn't.
No, the 19th is Waco and Columbine. Hitler and smoke weed day are the 20th.

Right wingers tend to be free market capitalists. They also tend to be “leave me alone” libertarians. The only thing right wing conservatives have in common with “nazis” is a respect for law and order. We have a different allegiance—to the constitution, and not to a man.
NPR should get their funding from the party they exist to support.
